Reposted from an article seen in rec.org.sca. Dennis managed to hold onto
his primenet.com address a lot longer than most of us. Sorry to see him
go at such a young age.
It is with a very heavy heart I have to report the passing of my
beloved husband Dennis. Dennis passed away at home on Friday the 14th
at about nine o'clock in the morning after a long and brave fight
against colorectal cancer. He was buried in a small private
ceremony attended by a few friends and family yesterday.
During his long illness, which left him mostly bed ridden at the end,
he more than once epressed the regret that he had not had much time of
late to enjoy his hobby of USENET discussions and that he would miss
the many friends that he cultivated online.
I'm sure that he would have wanted me to let these online friends
known where he has gone and why he has not posted much to this medium
in over a year.
Dennis, known in the SCA as "Buri Dogshin", was a loving husband, a
good friend, a wit and intellectual, an inventor, and an all around
great guy.
He will be missed by all.
Thank you for your time.
